Preserving Women Artists’ Legacies: Networks, Strategies, and Resources
Time: 02/23/2018: 12:30PM–2:00PMLocation: Petree Hall CD
This roundtable aims to bring together an interdisciplinary group of advocates to discuss current needs and resources for preserving the legacy of women artists. We welcome artists, scholars, educators, archivists, students, curators, executors, etc., to help shape the conversation. What are we all doing to create, disseminate, and access collections of artists’ archives and artwork? What is happening at national, regional, and local levels? What can we do together?
Discussion leaders – Rachel Middleman, California State University, Chico
Mary Savig, Curator of Manuscripts, Archives of American Art
